Magnolia Cottage is the perfect spot for a romantic, intimate wedding any time of the year. Brides and Grooms across the globe choose us because we take care of the details and create an unforgettable experience for every happy couple we care for.

During this time, we're carefully following guidelines and directives from the CDC and industry experts. We have heightened our protocol on all sanitation efforts, and will have ongoing education with our staff on all continuously updated preventative measures regarding food, food handling, and safety. Under the current executive order, we are only allowed to have gatherings of no more than 10 people indoors and no more than 20 people outdoors. Additional measures we’ve taken during this time of heightened awareness include:

Requiring staff members who are working to wear masks and gloves, and work at stations 6 feet apart from one another.
Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting the property with antibacterial solutions.

Magnolia Cottage specializes in small ceremonies for the betrothed and anywhere from two to 20 guests. Our owner, Jackie Wild, is an experienced and detailed wedding consultant who has been designing memorable weddings for guests at Magnolia Cottage B&B for over 15 years. Jackie’s passion for your big day is contagious and her attention to detail is remarkable. You’ll be cared for from your ceremony, to your first toast as husband and wife, and your honeymoon suite will be beautifully prepared with fresh-cut flowers, European linens, and a complimentary bottle of champagne.

Built in 1831, Magnolia Cottage is the perfect setting for your intimate wedding You’ll fall in love with our big front porch, Greek architecture, and the old wood will speak to you—if you listen closely enough. Natchez is a destination wedding hot spot.

Magnolia Cottage also provides the best regional specialties for your big day, all included in your package. From artisan bridal bouquets by John Grady Burns—a celebrated local floral designer who has previously lent his talents to the Atlanta Symphony and even the White House— to the best southern fig jam to accent your special requested cheese board, these details will truly deliver an authentic Natchez experience.

Weddings in the rose garden by the old fountain are particularly popular, featuring antique roses in bloom, 200-year-old crepe myrtles in the background, and more native natural splendor. Indoor weddings, held in the front parlor, are in demand because of our fine old wooden floors that tell a story on their own, and beautiful custom furnishings like the century-old settee wrapped in navy velvet. It’s a stunning room… and it’s cool on an extra hot day!

Our wedding package is $2,300 and includes (but is not limited to):

A 1.5 hour wedding venue rental for Bride and Groom and two guests*
Access to our in-house wedding coordinator, Jackie Wild, who has over 15 years wedding experience
Bouquet(s) and/or boutonniere(s): 2 total by a celebrated local floral designer, John Grady Burns who has previously lent his talents to the Atlanta Symphony and even the White House
Wedding ceremony with officiant
Delicious two-tier vanilla wedding cake, boxed and stored to take home after ceremony
Sparkling wine or champagne toast
Wedding keepsake
Recorded or live music
A two-night honeymoon in Magnolia Cottage’s private suite with breakfast delivered

To ensure the best possible experience, we’ll need 2-3 weeks’ notice to produce your package on an available date.

*Additional guests up to a maximum of 20 are welcome at an additional price.

The Ceremony

For your ceremony, we’ll drape the parlor’s interior with beautiful seasonal floral arrangements and greenery and surround you with candles in delicate glass hurricanes. For outside ceremonies, you and your beloved will stand in our rose garden at the old sweetheart fountain with ferns positioned on each side of you as you recite your vows and begin your new life together. Afterwards, you’ll be seated in our dining room, resplendent with arrangements in silver epergne where we’ll raise a glass to your new beginning.

This package includes the wedding couple and two guests. At this time due to restrictions on indoor event capacities, you may add up to 6 guests. Our experienced and meticulous wedding consultant will coordinate every aspect of your Magnolia Cottage Tiny Wedding, from ceremony to cake cutting. Your elopement will feel spontaneous, effortless, and stress-free… all you’ll need to do is relax and enjoy the moment.

Our Tiny Wedding package is $1,800 and includes (but is not limited to):

One-hour wedding venue rental
